Left 4 Dead Demo review

Lets get started I'm Scott and this is my review of the left 4 dead demo. let me get this out of the way has a gamer i don't give a crap about the graphics what i care about is the game its self and with that out of the way lets begin.

Left 4 Dead the game is simple get from point A to point B alive... but its a lot easier saying it than doing at least for me since I always play on expert. you can play the same levels over and over again until your head feels like its going to explode ( trust me i know i had to take a break for a few hours) but thanks to the director ( the unknown force that controls everything in the game from where the horde comes from to where items are place) the levels always feel fresh and new.

Now for the weapons everybody starts out with a pistol that holds 15 bullets per clip and has unlimited ammo and can choose from the start from 2 different weapons a shotgun "good for close quarters and maybe mid range depending" and a Uzi "good for long ,medium and spraying and praying at close range".

you get access to better weapons in the second part of the demo. they are the m16 "pretty much the same has the Uzi but does better damage I think". A combat shotgun " its the same has the other one except it holds ten shells and is semi-automatic which is really good against a horde". The hunting rifle " is mainly good for sniping at a distance" . and before i forget there are two types of grenades a pipe bomb and a Molotov Cocktail. The pipe bomb is great for when a horde because all you have to do is throw it at where they are coming from and the beeping that is emits attracts them to it and blow them up. The Molotov Cocktail is great for blocking the path that the infected are coming from with fire.

The weapons in the game are all good and balance. you will never feel like your playing with a toy gun or Air soft gun There may not be a lot of weapons but its better to have a few guns that the player will actually use than have 20 that are useless.

The game play is simply make it to the safe room alive but thanks to the director its always fun or hard depending on who you are and how good you are because its always it different unlike some of the other game out there. when you go into a room you don't know what your going to get a few stumbling infected or a whole horde of infected.

Over all I say that this game is one of the few out there that is endlessly replay able and is really looking up to being game of the year or at least being something. I recommend this game to fans of zombie games
